Aromatics of dried straw, granny smith apples, and honey suckle. The palate has a refreshing sweetness with orchard fruit abound.
Vineyard Notes
Dion Vineyard is located north slope of the Chehalem Mountains in the new Laurelwood District AVA. Initially planted in 1973 vineyard raises from 300 - 500 foot elevation.
Winemaker Notes
The grapes were whole cluster pressed juice was allowed to settle for 24 hours, then racked into stainless steel tanks to begin native yeast fermentation. The wine fermented until it was arrested at 14 g/L residual sugar and was then bottled as a sparkling Wine
