2019 Abbey Road Farm Terry Vineyard Chardonnay
New & Neutral French Oak
Nose of overripe yellow apple, peanut butter cookie, magnolia petals, wet rocks and hint of saline. Palate shows vanilla wafers, peanut husk and fine herbs. The wine has a silky texture with a sturdy acid structure before a lingering finish of green apples.
Willakenzie soil with basalt cobbles, planted in 2011, Live Certified farming
The Chardonnay Grapes were picked early in the morning then pressed extra hard to extract phenolics and fruit flavors from each whole berry. The wine was natively fermented through primary fermentation in a combination of new and neutral French oak barrels. The wine was racked to stainless steel after 22 months of aging in barrel. Bottled without fining or filtering. 75 cases produced.
