The bouquet and palate are matched in cranberry, dried herbs, blackberry fresh acidity, and smooth tannins
Carlton Hill - Willamette Valley AVA, 420-450ft elevation, planted in 1999. Rainsong Vineyard - Willamette Valley AVA, 500-800ft elevation, planted in 1985. Both farmed on mixed soil types with sustainable practices.
After an early morning hand harvesting as two separate lots, the Pinot Noir grapes were destemmed with 25% stems added back by weight into the vineyard specific fermenters. The wines natively went through primary and secondary fermentation and were pressed when dry. Both vineyards aged in neutral French Oak barrels for fifteen months before blending and bottling.
