2020 Abbey Road Farm

AVA (American Viticulture Area) Cuveé (Blend) This wine is a Pinot Noir that is blended from two great vineyards in the Yamhill / Carlton AVA. Kason Vineyard and Carlton Hill. The AVA Cuveé has bright fruit and rich texture.  AVA's most unique features are the oldest soils in the valley Marine Sedimentary topped with Loam making the vineyards well drained and quick ripening. The AVA is also protected by the coastal range that creates a rain shadow and the Dundee Hills to the east and Chehalem mountain to the North. The Pinot Noir grown here is noted to have a fruitier expression and this wine is no exception Raspberry's, Blue  Berry, and Black Cherries, framed by notes of dark chocolate, ripe pipe tobacco.
